Hi all, I’m new here and I’d be grateful if anyone can please help me. I have a 2017 Bentley Continental GT. All of a sudden the info system has stopped working. In short it won’t get passed the Bentley logo screen.

I have a car play unit installed and bizarrely it does allow me to switch to Car Play hence the screen itself seems fine. But I have no sound and of course can’t access any of the Bentley main menus etc.

It did load the once a few days ago and worked perfectly for one drive. I have tried to reset by holding down the reset buttons as advised by a few people.

some have said to disconnect the battery? I’m not experienced enough to do that so will take to my local garage if anyone thinks that would help.

I can hear a motor behind the unit hence I think it’s trying to load - but does not.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Sorry, but I think its dead. It may sometimes works...but eventually it will stop completely.

I bought my 2015 Flysing spur and had this issue after it was delivered. I tried to install an aftermarket "tesla style" unit but that SUCKED.

The good news is that this is a common problem, with readily available fixes. I'm pretty sure the issue is a HDD crash.

I had Eli at Bavlogicx fizx mine. I shipped it to him and had it back in under 7 days and I'm in Hawaii!

I have the androidauto/carplay unit. I had it installed when my screen was being repaired.

I got it bc it was only $350 n top of the repair. However, while it DOES bring the navigation into the 21 century, it's not w/o its faults. It nice, i cant complain - its just the integration leaves a bit more work. The OEM bentley BT sends a lot of info to the screens already. But if u want newer nav, its a no-brainer.
