I want to temporarily safely remove the CD changer from the glove box so i can tap into the lineout wires to route to a sub woofer amp.
has anyone removed their CD changer ?

 

Yes I did on my 2004 GT to install a Grom Bluetooth integration kit. In my case no issues.

As to your question, I am not sure why you would want to tap into the CD player harness, you would tap into the Infotainment head unit harness, BUT, better yet, being that you want to add a sub woofer and amp, why not tap into the wiring harness/plug in the trunk, right at the amp itself.
