2012 Bentley C GT Speed suspension issue
Hi everyone, new user here.
I have just purchased a 2012 Continental GT Speed.
I'm getting a random "level fault contact service" message on dash when driving at motorway speeds. The fault comes and goes while I'm driving.
Plugged VCDS in today, it had a number of stored faults, the relevant suspension faults were;
1) sensor for vehicle; front right - implausible signal - intermittent
2) leak in system - intermittent
I cleared all the faults, suspension sits level, raises and lowers ok. Won't go into jack mode.
Scanned again and theres just a generic "fault with level system" message, no specifics.
Whilst lowered the parameters read as follows;
-6.0 mm Left Front Height Deviation
1.0 mm Right Front Height Deviation
3.0 mm Left Rear Height Deviation
1.0 mm Right Rear Height Deviation
117.0 Left Front (G78) Absolute Height
111.0 Right Front (G289) Absolute Height
112.0 Left Rear (G76) Absolute Height
113.0 Right Rear (G77) Absolute Height
Whilst raised it was as follows;
36.0 mm Left Front Height Deviation
18.0 mm Right Front Height Deviation
36.0 mm Left Rear Height Deviation
34.0 mm Right Rear Height Deviation
143.0 Left Front (G78) Absolute Height
121.0 Right Front (G289) Absolute Height
131.0 Left Rear (G76) Absolute Height
132.0 Right Rear (G77) Absolute Height
All 4 corners raised and lowered fine, can't hear any leaks.
However when it is fully raised the car doesn't realise its fully up as the raising message stays on dash and compressor keeps kicking on and off.
Does the above point to it being a front level sensor, if so any idea if its likely to be the right or the left please?
Thank you in advance for any help/advise.
