BMW 335d confirmed for the US!

BMW just announced the diesel will be arriving in the US in 08! They are the first to get a 50-state legal diesel confirmed for the US.

35 mpg, and HUGE power. Imagine this with a chip.

Intriguing to say the least. Now if only I could get myself to convert to a diesel mindset.

Uhmm why do you love diesels so much there when the gas is so cheap ? I know , it has a high torque but still it sounds like **** even in 8 cyl. and leaves a ton of smoke behind when you kick-down it

Yesssss, finally. And Dan, the new generation of diesels are nothing like their predecessors, you can hardly tell that they're diesel anymore, there's no more smoky, noisy engines.

That torque will be amazing.

Dude, 427 lbs. of torque? ****. Unbelievable. How is it that it makes that much torque? Someone please explain. Instead of getting a Honda Element, I might just save up for this.
