Spencer u are aright , thats what i was wondering also that aluminum block !!! that wouldbe the biggest problem going for big power , the direct injection im sure that some one would be able to take care of that , doesnt VW use that same thing? and theyare getting tuned .

On the serious side.
Yeah, the new GTR has already been tested by a magazine locally here in Australia. In case you didn't know, we've had them here going on over 18 years. You guys in the States just play catch up.
The 335, they are a great bit of kit standard and I'm sure with turbo upgrades they'll be heaps of fun, but it'll never be an M or as much fun do drive on the limit. They are however a much better car than the E46 M's. I also don't believe they are as quick as people are saying with a chip.

Yes, he does konw more than you. You are an idiot....you claim the RB26 motor is not a big deal yet many of your friends choose to do that swap instead of the SR20DETT in their 240. lol. The SR20DETT is cheaper and a better fit for the 240, why the hell do you think your friends swapped a RB26 instead? RB26 is the best motor Nissan has made...followed by the SR20. Your points are not valid.

Lets not even begin to mention the connecting rod bearing issues shall we

HAHAHAHAHA Dude are you serious??!?! You have no idea what you're even talking about anymore.. you've made this thread laughable thanks..

If 2JZ and RB26 are nothing special, name something that's special
(don't give me random k series honda motors)

2JZ is nothing special? Your kidding right? They make HUGE power on standard internals. Something that even the FI BMW community haven't been able to achieve with the S54B32 with any real level of success. Hell it's been out 6 years and they are only JUST starting to get relieable FI kits available for them.

Like I said, both the 2JZ and RB26 are very tunable motors but they aren't anything special in terms of technology. Low compression, iron blocks...hmm I wonder why they can handle power...
