I had one in 88 - one of the first in the States. It was a total love hate relationship. Alot of electronic glitches and warped rotors made me hate it, but once it got running, would always put a smile on my face. I sold it 3 years later. Kinda regret it now that they've gained so much in popularity.

Almost every M car is timeless although, E30 has that raw homologation appeal....Which will make it a future rare classic for sure !

Classic. On my short list of cars that I want to own at some point. I still miss my E28 M5.
