Its the perfect time to buy an E30 M3 if any ! The prices are about to skyrocket now that the 4th gen is out, the original M3 really appreciated with a further heritage... and decent examples are about to exctinct...

at first, I didn't like the styling of the E30..but now I love them.
I really want one as a track car.

Attached is a simple, but very clean M3.

They are terrific track cars even out of the box... And that m3 is a fine example too...

I've been lusting after the E30 M3 for the past 5 or so years. I know it'd be a nightmare to maintain a car that old (as I'm discovering with my 1986 Merkur XR4Ti) but the E30 M3 is definitely in my top 10 dream cars. I do like my Merkur though. Every bit as innovative as the M3 was (and built to compete against the M3 as well) and a hoot to drive. Maybe not quite as fast, or pure as the M3, but close enough for now.
