If you define "platform" as a centrifugal supercharger applied to a small displacement high revving enegine, then you are correct.

However there is nothing inherent in the engine that prevents it from developing a good amount of torque.

The results look very good, but I personally would like to see a lot more below 5k rpm...

 

No doubt it's not a Monster in the TQ department, the S54 never has been with a SC'r, but like I said I made more TQ, 355WTQ, on a Mustang dyno with lesser octane fuel. Forget the dyno though, real world comparo's have been stellar.

Interesting that most of the cars I've ran with or beat have more TQ than me some as much as 75WTQ, and some around same WHP.
