New M5 lease deals?
I saw the thread about the awesome deal a member got on a blue M6 convertible. I've been checking swapalease for deals on M5s. What is the best deal you guys have seen on an M5 lease (assume it's very well/fully loaded)?
I can easily take over a lease for around $1300 (no money down) but I hear dealers are discounting these cars.
Any info?
TIA,
Bobby

bobby,
i have been shopping for one as well. most of the new ones are sticker at around 95-98K. i have gotten several quotes at almost 1500 including tax @ 15k miles per year. the term is 24 months and drive off at 2500-3500.
the deal for M6 is even better since there was a promotion. but it will end at midnight today!!

Man, you and I have issues. One car to the next. Why don't you get a car I like, and vice-versa, and then we'll swap in a year.
I've seen some good lease takeover deals in the $1300 range on cars that sticker close to $98K. Your deal is actually pretty good, taking into consider lease duration and drive offs. I would love to pick one up with about 15-20 months left for around $1000/month. Preferably with an exhaust! We'll see if I can make that happen.

which site are you looking at for lease take over? swapalease is difficult to communicate with the seller unless you pay for membership. but given the deal i got, it's hard to get a used car for not much less. i am also hoping to get a good deal on a take over just to drive for a while.
heck, why don't we lease on for 36 months and split it 18/18. i even let you go first!!

Still have the AMV8. When I have the time to drive it, I don't think about selling it. I'm so busy with work, I haven't even pushed it. In mid-January, I'll probably advertise it on cars.com. Still have the S4 too! Have a serious buyer, and I'm determined to sell it to him.
I looked at swapalease. I have an account, so I can easily get seller information (let me know if you ever need it). If I pursue the M5, I'll ask the seller to give me an incentive. I would pay up to $1200 including tax for a short term lease on one. I also need excess miles (15K/year).
Your offer is tempting. Given that we're both afflicted with car ADD, I'm not sure we'll be interested in the M5 in 18 months. Now, if you got another porsche, that would be cool. I'm itching to get back into one in about a year, but I need the extra room for the family in the meantime!

my credit is A grade terrible.
I put down just a little above drive off
and i'm paying exactly $1,287.05 a month tax all in.
24 months 12,000 miles a year.
that was the steal of the century.
and the window sticker price was $103,995 or something before taxes.

I was at the dealer getting the 3 serviced and they had a 07' M6 Blk/blk for $910.00 a month & $8,900.00 Down + TAX& fees!! w 10k a year for 3 years the payment sounded good but the Down payment was stupid so I didnt bother research it any further. Sticker was $109,xxx.00 I dunno I'd love to find a decent deal with little to no drive off and I believe I would bite. I actuallly prefer the M5 to the M6 but either one will work at that price which ever is cheaper pretty much.

I'm a bit surprised at some of the numbers thrown around here.
I got my M5 in May 2007. I pay $1,650 per month and that doesn't include taxes (in MD, you pay it all up front, not monthly). It is a $98K sticker (just about fully loaded... how does one get to 103K MSRP?), I got about $4K off and put no money down, 24 mo/15K mi, and got the "buy rate" at the time of 0.00320 and residual of 72% (i think). So I don't see how some of these deals you all are talking about are made. I'm just saying, do the math and don't just take what the salesman throws at you. Using my numbers above, to get to the 1200 level pretax per month, you'd have to use a 90K purchase price (not well-optioned?) and a crazy low 0.002 money factor and cut out all fees. Not saying it isn't possible, I'm just surprised.

A lease deal can't simply be summed up by a monthly payment. There are many factors involved in what makes a payment what it is. (Residual, interest rate, money down, etc). Comparing one person's lease to another's isn't an apples to apples comparison.

don't mind getting another M5 if the deal is good. i love the car. in low 1k it's a steal.
BMW was(maybe still or even better. not been shopping) offering 07 leftover M6 for great deal since the 08 received a facelift. the 08 M5 wasn't that good since the facelift arrived back in March already.

shooot. my M5 i'm trying to sell is a lease, if someone wants to take it over there are 24 months remaining as well but it only has 3,005 miles on it, in other words, 45,000 miles left on the lease for 24 months (1875 miles/month). the payment is $1650 incl. tax.... so a little more but same term, $0 down, and WAYYYYYYY more miles.
