my modded e92 335 with family cars

it handles great with the springs......better than stock for sure. i havent driven a 335i with coilovers. i just didnt wanna spend the money on coilovers. i liked the height of the springs and i actually do like the ride even though a lot of people dont. i just couldnt see myself spending 1300 on somethin that i wouldnt use to its fullest extent. i dont go to track days so coilovers would be a waste of money.

i know what you mean...i dont track my cars either (although id like to go 1-2 times a yr) and for my current e46 m3 i did H&R springs with koni adj shocks and the ride is amazing and handling is def better than stock. i do LOVE the stance of your 335 and may end up going this route again, but KW coils are tempting.

ugh i dont think so. the aston has a .1 second better 0-60. 4.8 versus 4.7. but the 335i would beat it with a turbo tuner. im not gonna even bring up the procede cuz i hate the side effects of the procede and i like the plug and play factor of the turbo tuner. and the aston would cream the 335i in the corners

i remember the 997S went up against the AM V8 vantage and m6 and crushed them both in a handling course.
read this:
Although the Vantage's exhaust talks a mean game, we were a bit let down by its actual performance, lagging behind the (admittedly top-notch) competition we brought before it. Its 0–60-mph time of 5.3 seconds was a full second off the nearest competitors (the Vette and the Audi)
0-60 times are dependant on launching and grip so its more of a drivers race between the two stock for stock...prob up top the aston will pull but to around 100 is prob very close.

Actually, just by looking at the figures one wouldn't be that sure:
The Aston pulls a 0.96g @ the (200-ft.) skidpad where the 335i only manages 0.86g (the 997S betters the Aston by 0.02g).
Speed through the 700-ft. slalom for the Aston is 68.6 mph and 68.7 for the 335i.
And in the quarter mile; the V8 takes the cake: 13.1@107.9 MPH vs. 13.5@104.5 MPH for the bimmer.
So with these figures in mind I was curious what the opinion of an actual owner of these cars is.

i actually like the stock exhaust note, but if i were to get an exhaust i would probably get a mildly loud one like the borla catback or the rd sport quads
