Interesting, the m3 wasn't fast to me or impressive to say the least, and I still think the e46 m3 is quick, I guess its deceivingly quick the m3. Based off brute force the amy benzes always feel faster but it isn't necessarily the case. The dct M I hear is muchhh quicker though so wouldn't surpise me.

yeah they should be pretty even with the m-dtc trans. i still haven't read a review but it is faster. and like previously stated the c63 can't miss a gear. put in D mode->smash right peddle to floor->go bye byes haha. thats about it.

because it was a rolling start, i could definitely believe this. while i've heard the c63 is faster in the straightline, the powerband with respect to starting speed and gearing plays a role. the new m cars seem to shine in rolling starts, while i think amg's (especially the 55's) are especially potent down low because of all the torque. perhaps different starting speeds would change the results, based on each car's respective combination of gearing and powerband.

Guys,

Let's do this:

We can all get together and race again.....

Ehis time will be Mike with E92, the C63 and my E46 M3, then we will see.

I believe you Mike, I drove both cars and the M3 seems faster to me.

guys, go back and watch every video you saw between the C63 and E92 M3. While watching you will all see that the E92 in every video was manual. this guy has his E92 with the newer version of SMG which is called DCT, so its believable that the race was close, even or ending with the M3 winning.

+1 I believe the OP the C63 is fast but the M3 is more of the racer especially with the DCT.
