Your friend is from the future?

Saying the average person can't tell the difference between a M3 and a 335 is the most retardeed argument evar. My wife who knows jack about cars laughed at me when I showed her a 335 coupe, 2 weeks later we went to the dealer and she pointed out the M3 coupe and told me I need to buy that car.

I'm sure you love your 335, as you should, it's a remarkable car but it is no E9* M3 regardless of how much money you throw at.

he prob meant to type 08 m3.

i will say one thing for sure...the new m3 crushes and obliterates the e46 m3. its a much better car. that said, i cant wait until i pick one up.

no I meant the new 09 or 08..which ever yr this new E92 M3 is out. coupe..Granted I have spent some money on upgrades...ECU, Downpipes, Exhaust, Intercooler and Oil Cooler upgrade...the car is truly a beast...say what you want..but the 335 is an amazing car itself...Not "M" like..but its own entity...

maybe your wife is just smarter...or from the future and saw the car before..the average person..on the street does not know the difference..to this day from owning the car since November..people ask me if it is an M..and I gracefully say.NOPE..it's a 335..

now back on track..this thread was to ask about the lease on an M6...what people are seeing for numbers and vice versa.

I'd say stick with what you've got. It's a pretty nice car, you seem to like it, why change?

I have..it is def an amazing machine. I love the high revving V8....comfortable..I have already started to see a wave of them here in NY already..and the C63...I want a car that not everyone has..So the M6..is pretty close to what I am looking for. I wouldn't get a Porsche right now, because my condo is putting up new garages soon....well hopefully.and I dont want to leave the P outside...I do like the new M3...just...dont think it is worth $500 more a month to pay for than my 335.

Meh, she married me so that theory is blown out of the water.

I would definately get the M6 over the M3 if money wasn't an issue. Like you said, you already own a heavily modded 335 so the $500 extra a month seems like a lot of coin to move into another 3er. (what a hypocrite)

Me on the other hand, I'm thinking of getting out of my Z and into a M3. I've thought about the 335 but it would be too lateral for the money. Either I go the M route or I do nothing and stick with the Z.

Edit:sorry for being a dick and ****ting on your thread.

The new plate on my 335i seems oddly appropriate for this thread.

I'm actually in the same stage as you. I want to get rid of our 335 but not sure for what yet.

I was thinking an M6 as well even though we already have an M5 - an M6 cab. would be nice or maybe even a skyline if I can find one for MSRP (which is doubtful).
