my new E39 M5

I wouldn't say so. The car looks great, and it is quite a deal.
But... These have taken a huge hit in the past 6 months, and with higher(ish) mileage they have really plummeted.
Having worked on these for at least 5 years, I wouldn't hesitate to scoop one up with even higher mileage (100k).
A mint mint example can be had for just a hair over $30k on the regular.
Regardless, great find, and enjoy it!

sorry for not responding to everyone. the car was bought from a auction in sourthern california. i bid on it and got lucky. but and there is always a but. with in the first week i bought the car i did have to buy brand new tires and a new clutch. but i knew this before buying it. and the last thing on my list is front brakes. i still need to finish that. and the car will be good to go.

What a great find!!! I'll offer you $17k for your car.
All joking aside, very clean looking M5 considering it has 70k miles. But IMO if you have the M5 quad exhaust, put them back on. Tubi or not, dual exhaust doesn't look good on the M5.
