Were those 335 numbers on race gas?
I know people are making 400 whp with gas gas, aggrssive tune and catless downpipes/exhaust.

My run was on mixed 91oct with 100oct from the pump so i probably had 94-97oct in there and not with an agressive tune, i was only making 14-15psi... Agressive would be 16-17psi and right there i should pick up another 15-20whp putting me at around 415whp or so... My next dyno i am going with race gas and an agressive tune with all my mods... By the way my 335 gets filled up with 100oct at the pump only for about 6 months now, on the dyno day i was still mixing octanes, now i just run 100 all the time...

Gearing is not going to help the M3 against the 335, the M3 has 100lb ft of torque less than a decently modded 335... Im not going after stock M3's, you are incorrect and i am sorry to tell you that if you stuck an E92 M3 with all the bolt ons they make for it i will still put down more WHP and WTQ with less weight and beat it in a straight line... The M3 is a beautiful car no doubt but its not a fast car and it cannot be modded to add much HP to its already high revving N/A V8, the only way to get big power out of it will be F/I and good luck spending $30-40k on an M3 to beat a 335 
Besides if you look at dragtimes, people are getting the 335 into the 11's when the M3 is sitting at mid 12's...

40k? Hhahah! VF-engineering already started on their supercharger development for the M3. The pricing will be similar to their kits for the E46 M3, ever hear of anyone getting one of those?
The 335 is not competition for a modded M3. No one wants a 335 if they can afford an M3, it is a stupid discussion.
I see I have to destroy your car as well, I already had to put one 335 owner swinging their poor little nuts around in their place, I will gladly do the same to you.

I already know why you chose the 335 over the M3, you can't afford it or afford to modify it considering you go looking for used tuned ECU's.

don't know why you guys even compare the 335 to the M3... the M3 has a better "feel" to it... the 335 was built for every day and has crappy steering...crappy brakes and a suspension that doesn't hold up on the track... as a daily its great... but on the track.... bye bye... the M3 is a true driver's car... with LSD and DCT your gonna have way more fun than the 335... lets see how long all of these *boosted* 335's last... lol....

I've actually driven and owned more cars than I care to remember and the new M3 is one of them...Love the car....my daughters 12 now and will need a car when she gets her license in a few years...may consider the 335 for her....

Actually I have... I had the M3 for a full hour ripping the tarmac apart with it and I've driven my buddies 335i on several occasions.... window driver..? .lol.... maybe U can't afford an M3... but hey... look at the bright side.... chip by chip you can almost get there in a 335i... lol... lol... and still have $$$ to take out your girlfriend @ Wendy's...
