I was simply explaining what he meant, not trying to get in the middle of your argument. Again though he was reffering to your figure of 270 which is close to 20%.

No way in hell? Why do people spread this nonsense? This is the same junk people tell me regarding the S65, that it is impossible to tune and get gains and they post this incorrect junk as fact.
i drive a lowly japanese awd turbo... lets just say i think n/a E46 aren't too quick. again i was referring it to my experience, its a discussion forum, chill out a little

No way in hell will it get that from intake/exhaust/tune. That's what this discussion is regarding.
I agree, no BS flag raised. Proved us wrong

It shows a 37 rwhp gain. Not 40-50 but I'd still like to read the thread it's related to.

No worries, I just don't consider the car to be slow by any means. Very rare have I found myself to be in a situation where I would get rocked from a light or from a roll...that is in the vehicles class.

I did get my A$$ handed to me by an M5 on the freeway. That was not pretty. But that's what an extra $50k gets you these days.

That is a fairly mild tune on 91 octane I might add.

I'm assuming you don't know much about BMW tuning since you don't seem to have any idea the numbers E46 M3's are hitting NA. Several guys with the CSL airbox mod have pushed the numbers higher than that on stock internals. Once you play with the internals, 350+ is possible NA.

Do some research on m3forum.net so you have something to contribute instead of spreading misinformation.

What happened to no way in hell it can hit 40 wheel gains NA? Perhaps you would like to admit you were wrong now? I'm not trying to be a dick here as I enjoy discussing cars but I don't like when people spread incorrect information and then others perceive it as accurate. A few people said the E46 M3 can't gain 40 wheel NA, it can and does.

Here is another dyno with the CSL style airbox vs. stock, 321 wheel vs 272 wheel. I think I have wasted enough time educating you though as someone in the know already mentioned:

Active is claiming 40 whp gains with headers, intake and exhaust which I consider boltons....aggressive 93 octane rich tune in addition to pull it all together should actually yield over 50 whp gains over stock. Not bad at all.....

But this thread is about the 335i....not some discontinued 6 cyl relic that is way passed its prime! Back on topic would be nice

You're kidding me with that graph, right? A child drew it? Why don't you supply links regarding this? Sorry, that baseline was a joke.

Not only that, if it was NorCal, late August = 90+ degrees and March maybe mid 60s.

And what trap speeds do these amazing E46s hit?

Hey whatever you need to tell yourself to not allow reality to set in. I did not realize I had to go look for only graphs that have the level of smoothing you would like. I'm not going to go and do more work that you should be doing on your own to up your E46 IQ (it needs it). Do searches on m3forum.net and read until you realize how far off you were.

What trap speeds do E46's hit? Well, something like 111 certainly would be nowhere near amazing for what E46 M3's are capable of in the aftermarket.
