E92 M3 Ipod USB add-on?

Hi,
i have found the car i want at my local dealership, it has all the packages and stuff i want except the usb ipod integration, i asked my dealer if he could put this in for me and he said no, it is a facotry only option.
then i spoke to a dealer in calgary and he said, its no problem at all, just bring it to the dealers service center....
very confused, as the car has m drive and all that, so i would really like to use my ipod thru the car, can this be added- on thru bmw? or is after market better if i want full functionality, i have seen this/// http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1651
thanks

Its definitely retrofitable. Just needs to be programmed into the iDrive by the dealership.

It's about $1000 for the parts and then a reprogram. It's not widely available and doesn't seem to have been done much either. It's not even available in the US.
There's an iPOD kit that's easily added but not the same as the USB/iPOD unit.
