E90 M3 broke down in 300 miles

My brand new E90 M3 broke down due to fuel pump malfunction today...I bought it for only 5 days less than 300 miles. Can anyone suggest me what I to do. Thanks

Tow it back to the dealer for all necessary repairs? Don't understand what "suggestions" you could be looking for? Are you asking how to claim this car as a "lemon" for BMW to buy back?

At the moment you dont have a case for Lemon Law......you take the car back to the dealer let them fix it. If it happens two more times then you have a case.

You need that problem to occur 3 times in order for it to be a lemon. Hopefully it's just bad luck and a one off;(

Sometimes these things happen it doesn't mean you have a lemon. If it keeps happening then pursue the lemon law definitely. Same thing happened to me when I bought a brand new B7 Audi S4 25th Anniversary I was able to get out of it because I didn't sign the docs for the bank they wanted. I would have signed but the dealer was being a real ****** about the problem and there tech looked at it twice and couldn't find a problem they released the car to me twice and once I got home the car wouldn't start the next time I tried it would take me about 30 mins to start it eventually each time. It was a real drag.

That sucks.. I hear fuels pumps are a big problem on the 335's also.. especially if they've been chipped.

Correction it WAS a big problem that has been solved a long time ago along with the over heating issue... Welcome to 2009

Today they said is the control unit assoicated with fuel pump has problem and need to be replace. Since the part is in the East coast, the earliest to get the car back is on Monday afternoon. Anyway, one more thing upset me is the loaner car, they gave me a Jeep instead of BMW. Sucks

BMW sucks in service and warranty? That's a pretty broad statement. I've owned at least 6 BMWs over the past 12 years and I've always been very impressed with the service and warranty work at the dealers I've chosen to go to. Maybe his particular dealer just isn't the best ...

What if the car has been in and out of the service 3 times for miscellaneous problems. Got X5, first night we noted an on going beep. Radio was off etc... then took it back, they found out all the Harmon Kardon Speakers were bad. Took 3 weeks to get new parts, had a 3 series loaner whatever. Now last night, car wouldn't start! Can we claim Lemon for diff problems, but in short period for a brand new car?

BMW Sales down, 33%. So service cutting is the new thing. Their new policy is to give loaners to people who have cars towed in , or have undriveable vehicles. Yours is the second one, you got the loaner. The dealers usually have 5 BMWs, 1. SUV X5 or X6 1. StationWagon (3 Series, or 5), and 3. (3 Series). You get those cars anytime between 7:30AM - 8:00AM. If you really care to have a BMW, you go then, and they will give you the 5 BMWs as you desire. Anything after 8:30 is through enterprise, jeep, pontiac etc.... Servivce days, I'm there at 6:45AM
