E46 ///M3 'Vert ESS CFR500: Pics & Dyno

I thought I'd post this and represent the ///M3 with the CFR500.

My car is completely stock other than the suspension and of course the supercharger setup. All OEM exhaust. I plan on getting another set of race headers/cats, exhaust then taking it to the CFR550 level, or just opt for the drop-in piston setup and increase the boost further. I parted mine out back in 2007.

The car dyno'd at 420 RWHP & 314 RWTQ running 6.5 psi. The low-to-mid range torque is incredible for what it is. It'll be even more remarkable when I increase the boost using the smaller pulley and retune. The setup does not use a MAF.

The "500" runs 6.5 psi as stated; the 525 runs 7 psi, the 550 7.5 psi. ESS also has another level where you swap out the blower with drop-in pistons for greater boost for the CFR600-750 series. I'm not sure, but I'll see if the "boost bug" hits after the "550" setup. Other mods will come first with another BBK in addition to the referenced headers/cats. It's a bummer given I already had this stuff then parted it out! Live and learn I guess.

The setup does not use race gas or meth. You can run 91 - 93 range octane. I run BP 93 here, I have for quite some time and it's what the car is used to running on.

This has transformed the car.

Run 3 = 420 RWHP, 314 RWTQ SAE

zevyvoom is infamous around these parts
I'm a fan! What tuner makes that kit? Have you thought about putting on a freer flowing exhaust for more power? Also, who made the beautiful shock tower brace?

ESS makes the setup.

Yes, on the exhaust. I used to have the CSL headers/cats, SS X-pipe resonated and Eisenmann Race muffler and will be back at it again. I parted my car out back in 10/2007 as I was going back to a P-car and that didn't work out for me.

My last headers/cats setup with the "X" pipe - I'll have another set but just the euro equivalent, along with the balance of the exhaust - the exhaust note was AWESOME!

The CFR500 is designed to run on stock exhaust. The natural progression will be to add the headers/cats and max it out at the 550 which produces a nice jump in power/tq.

The strut bar is the Quatro Performance Carbon Fiber unit. It's my understanding they're no longer made. It's my second. The first went when I parted it back in 2007.

Other than my supercharger, the only mods on the car for the moment (aside from carbon fiber accents) is the suspension: KWv2, Eibach F/R sways, UUC adjustable rear control arms, GC rear shock mounts.

The car back in mod mode - no more of that as I'm keeping the body stock, but as I said, I do plan on full race exhaust, an upgrade to the 550 (increase psi to 7.5), another BBK and set of wheels.
