M6 dyno ( today)

Hi guys,

Today I went to dyno my car (M6). Evosport and evosport pulley on the car. I got 435 rwhp, 297 torq. I think this is low .. What do you think guys. Do you think it's good, not bad or bad. I think it not good because the when I got the exhuast and the pulley .. The guy told me that the pulley gonna give you around 30 rwhp and the exhuast should give more ... Ifont know if there is something wrong..

They'll say just about anything to sell you a part, but 435 sounds about right.

In alot of cases the calibration and correction factors used in the data processing can affect the readings too.

Different dyno pulls, done at different places can yield different results.

Pulley...30rw? That would be crazy. You could stop spinning all the accessories and still maybe only get 30 imo.

Did you do a dyno pull anytime prior to the pulley install, on the same dyno? I wouldn't be too worried about the end dyno number, because as D2Forged mentioned, a lot of variables can affect a dyno number. I would be more interested in the delta between the dyno numbers pre and post pulley install.

i got 433 before i put my exhaust and block off plates on, it was just the rpi scoops, which really don't show up on the dyno.

That is still pretty strong. Did anybody else dyno the same day?

It is hard to compare dyno numbers without a reference.

I don't know much about M6s but seeing that big of a discrepency between toque and HP shows the car is likely running very efficiently. Typically, higher displacement cars make torque and HP that are very similar, and in some cases, torque is much higher, which usually signals an airflow problem. You know at least you don't have such issues.
