Thanks - she's right @ 58K miles, covered through 2011 or 125K w/a pretty hefty 3rd party warranty. VANOS solenoid service during 1st month of policy more than paid for itself.

Hasn't given any headaches as of late, so I've had fun refreshing various parts ... new steering wheel, floor mats, various interior trim parts, front/rear window rubber trim, lower windshield cowl, wiper arms, front/rear bumper trim and windshield washer nozzles - all oxidized from age.

BTW - if you're still on an original wheel, might consider Tischer's sale on the tri-stitched. I was able to sell my old one (identical to e46 M3/sport) for $250, making the $120 an easy investment.

Funny that you mentioned it, I just purchased new M3 steering wheel from Tischer about a week ago

Also, in the past year I've replaced half of the parts that you named off including the lower windshield cowl and other trim pieces....

Your ///M looks great. What's your mpg average?

LOL - awesome the difference a new wheel makes ... much chubbier. Did you self-install? Wound up being pretty easy once I understood the airbag removal process.

Think I'm right @ 17MPG. Don't do freeways; all street-level, <5 mile jaunts back/forth to work. MAFs and all O2s have been replaced. Have the SuperSprint x-pipe and Dinan exhaust.

Yes I love the new wheel. I didn't DIY because it was throwing 3 different airbag cels so I just took it to a good indy shop and had them reset the codes and install the wheel at the same time. MAF and two O2 sensors were replaced as well in past year or so.

I bet your car sounds pretty darn good

Thanks. Actually, now that you mention, I do need another set of bushings for my Dinan rear sway. Even w/the tight fitment of Beastpower's machined brackets, the bushings continue to squish/twist off to one side.

Thanks - the RC's aggressive dish (esp on 10" rears), along w/thin spokes lend them to appear bigger than they are.

www.aaautowarranty.com - "Encompass Bumper to Bumper"

Horizontal strip's part of the M-Tech option originally offered 03 540 sport - included t-bar, plastic mesh and brake ducting. For whatever reason, BMW opted to not to vent the M5 brakes.
