E46 M3 AA Supercharged vs E60 M5 at age 30
What are your thoughts on E46 m3 Supercharged AA with all the goodies rims suspension etc as compared to a drive with e60 M5 with all bolt ons and exhaust. I have never driven one but feel like E60 m5 is good fit or should sell my car and look for an E60 m5. I will post pics later.
Reason being I am 29 going to be 30 this year. Am I too old for an M3 now i have had it since 2003 when i bought it used and felt like a kid in candy shop everyday i drove it?
What to do....
Not new 6speed just haven't posted much or at all...

I dont want to seem l care what other people think but to me a m3 seems more of type of car for younger person. Now that im getting into the 30s i feel older and should be driven a not so unique car as Supercharged LSB e46 m3 i dunno mayb im having a midlife crisis. I love my car but its getting a bit old and with the prices going down on e60 63 m5/m6 im considering it.
Can some people chime in on the difference and feel of m5/m6 to a e46 m3.
Thanks for the advice.
The pic is before SC BTW

I'm in the same place with my M3. It is a hard decision but I think an E60 M5 would be nice to move up too. Very different cars though. I have driven several E60s and the first thing I noticed compared to my M3 was the size! It is not nearly as tossable but that V10 was absolutely music to my ears.

30!?!? May I introduce you to the Buick LeSabre? It's perfect for the "older crowd".
In all seriousness 30 is still pretty young. But rather than switch cars, maybe a new paint job if you have a hard time parting with the M3? I can see where the blue may be pretty loud, but pretty good looking if you ask me. But as the saying goes drive what you like and like what you drive.

I am well in my 30s...ughhh...and recently sold my e60 M5 because it really just didn't speak to me. I would definitely recommend driving one first. I currently have and plan on having my M3 for a long time. I love the e46 M3 exterior and interior styling. I like the fact that it is still basically simple enough that I can do all my work on the car. Me, personally, I would keep the M3, unless you need the utility of 4 doors.
