Brilliant White 60-130 runs..... New Low!

I was able to get in some VBOX 60-130 runs this weekend before the rain hit Phx. The same setup was used as in my previous runs, but the temps were a little cooler. Also, check out the .75% up slope!

Setup
  • ESS Tuning VT2-575 S/C Kit
  • ESS Tuning Stage 2 DCT Software
  • DINAN Racing Mid-Pipe
  • DINAN Exhaust
  • DINAN 3.62 Diff
  • 20" Wheels
  • PS2 Tires
  • 295/25 Rear Tires
  • 91 Octane
  • Outside Temp 66 Degrees
  • .75% Up Slope
  • DCT Mode S6 used

The ESS DCT Stage 2 software is still delivering the power flawlessly and the gear shifts are lightening quick.

I am still on 20" "show" wheels, so I am toying around the idea of some 19" to have some fun and maybe go lower!

Best 60-130 time
  • 8.31

I am excited to get some more runs in and with more practice and 19's who knows!

No 93 octane in AZ. I wish we had better gas, but that is it for us in AZ.

Biglare so you have the ESS SC'er on the M3. What kind of power are you making to the wheels?
Can you post pics? Sorry if you have and I missed it. Do you have dyno's?
I saw it at Bimmerfest last May and looked good. The M5/M6 bunch has been waiting for their development of a SC'er from ESS.

The car was dyno'd when the S/C was installed and it put down 518whp and 600chp. See the dyno graphs below.

Also, please see the following thread for pics.

As for the S/C kit for the M5 and M6, I would recommend you to contact Roman at ESS for info.
