As a general rule, I agree 100% with that.

However, knowing who the OP is here, what are the chances he will not mod his next car? I think slim to none. On top of that, we all know getting performance out of FI is cheap cheap cheap compared to NA. At least it is with the 335....100 hp/tq for $1K.

Good thing with the E60 M5 is -- you wouldn't have to mod it all (performance wise anyhow) as it's a beast in stock form. Unless, he wants to go the route that you went with yours.

I am looking at cars $40K in under. I want a 4 door that I can modify yet still shove the baby seat in it. Putting it in the 135I is comical I like the N54 turbo motor so that is why I said 335I. Plus the photo below is so sick! I liked the Audi A3 I had and a A4/S4 Avant would be rad.

Looks good but I'd do something about that wood trim.

Wow, I didn't know the prices had came down that far! I actually like the wood, and I am sure he will do some mods to the car! I know I would mod an M5, there is no such thing as a car that doesn't needs mods....

Thank you for the offer, I am still in the early stages of deciding. I like the E55/E63 but wow for the price its hard to beat an E60 M5! Apparently my wife thinks a nitrous Corvette isn't a good family car...

It may be too late since you already bought her but I just saw this thread. I'm in San Antonio so if you want me to check her out let me know...I'm actually off work tomorrow so no big deal.

So what are the first mods going to be? How much can you pick up with a tune and exhaust and intake mods?
