One vender said VOLK is not making the classic TE37 for BMW's anymore. They want to change over to the VR/G2's. Could this be true???

As far as I know this is not true. The TE37 is one of VOLK'S most popular model.
So popular in fact that RAYS just came out with the TE37V - for older cars.
