Good stock but send one to Racing Dynamics and you will be handed back a beast. I think the high end pkg is around 27K for engine/cosmetic/suspension.

The numbers claim to be 620bhp, up from stock 407, with a new locking rear that can provide 80% lock.

 

In defense of the Jeep it doesn't sound like he brake torqued which is the secret to the Jeeps launching so hard, sounds like he just punched it from a stop. My buddies Jeep has those same mods except headers as well, and destroys cars off the line that are quicker then the new 550i. I mean a couple bolt on's and good tune and your cracking 0-60 in the high 3 second range on vbox on a good launch...... now if only the truck still accelerated that hard after 60

No denying the new BMW is a beast though, and imo it looks great compared to the bangled crap before. Will make a nice tuner sedan with how easy it will be to play with to tune the boost up.

 

Had a chance to drive one today and the thing is a beast.......from the inside feels like a 7 series but put your foot down and traction control lights up like a xmas tree......The speed is very deceiving. Getting on 101 I was at triple digits by the end of the on ramp. I only had about 20 min with some gaps in traffic. It will be interesting to see what tuners do to it.
