What percentage of meth are you running? If it's a high percentage, or even 100% meth, the 104 may not have been enough octane and you were pulling timing.
Meth injection can give you anywhere from 10-25 octane points depending on the amount used, so if say you are using 100% meth with 91, it could be very similar to running C16. Once you went to 104, your ECU noticed a loss of octane and therefore pulled timing to compensate.
It's only a hypothesis, since I don't know the specifics of your setup nor have I seen any datalogs.

Good point though Bro, kinda hard to say without logging, etc.

Thanks Bud, appreciate that!
Am I crazy or do you think I may have gone too far with running the WM and 104 octane? I did increase the WM amount slightly, but the car loved it on 91. During the runs the car felt a TAD sluggish, but still ran good. Those Mexico roads are not the best place for solid Vbox pulls, but on a 3.x decline the car did 7.6. On a fairly flat road I recently hit 7.06, on 91+Meth.

The shelby has to defy all the laws of physics with just sheer tarmac chewing torque and hp... lol
A blower on the Vette like Scott had would be "extreeeme"
I may still pick up a ZR1 in the future. Pulley tune exhaust. done deal

Just a note here on the runs -
I was wrong on the info, he's actually running K24/Garret 50 lb compressor wheels, so his Turbo's are a bit larger than K24/20g's, and he does not have the RWD conversion he is AWD. I will post the revised vid today Sid! We need to get some Vbox runs on your car ASAP.

His numbers are almost identical to K24/20Gs. They'll make 675 -700 whp on a dynojet on race gas. I'd like to see his graphs as I'm curious how the curve looks compared to K24/20Gs.
