Gintani Stage 2+ SC'd E92 M3 vs. 2- C6 Z06's, 2- GTR's & One fast Proto 996tt 24/50
Did some Mexico pulls -
Two C6 Z06's, 2 Lightly Modded GT-R's & a 650whp Protomotive Tuned K24/Garrett 50 lbs. Compressor Wheels, 996TT, great cars and really cool guys.
FWIW, I increased the WM on my setup and ran mostly 104 octane, for some reason the car was anywhere from .5 to 1 second slower 60-130, even on a 3% decline, I've concluded the car seems to like the 91+WM a little bit better. I probably should have turned off the WM while running the race gas, either way the outcomes would have been the same. Enjoy!

Great runs! Your car is rockin!
It's incredible how fast the stock C6 Z is. I wish I never sold mine. With a few odds and ends that car is a missile!
Imagine the equivalent mods on the Z! Nutty!

Did you see these runs?(link below) That Shelby moves Brotha! If your car moves like that, it's GAME OVER. Get some Vbox times and more comparo vids with your car, I grew up with Mustangs, and that car is starting to peak my interests again!

Those Z's move! The Black one is a good buddy, his seems quicker but he assured me he was even with the Blue one that day, both great guys and awesome cars. Stock Scott hit 7.8, full bolt on hit 7.06, same as mine, but I think a modded one would get me. The Proto 996tt is just on another planet.

My car dynoed at 670 at the wheels with the 15psi pulley, but we've gone to the 18psi which should be around 700.
Still have not done headers or real exhaust so all said and done she should be near 750wheel with some weight out of it on pump gas.
It also helps that my best friend is a mega tuner, and has a 1200+WHP Shelby in the works..
I just pick the scraps up and we put them on my car... lol
Here's my kit when it was still on his car with race tune and pulley.
Which wasn't enough for him!!

I was just thinking the other day where the hell have your videos been?
Nice work Drew!
When do you plan to take that bad boy to the 1/4 strip again? Should see some 10.x passes. What kind of tire do you plan on using?

Am I crazy or do you think I may have gone too far with running the WM and 104 octane? I did increase the WM amount slightly, but the car loved it on 91. During the runs the car felt a TAD sluggish, but still ran good. Those Mexico roads are not the best place for solid Vbox pulls, but on a 3.x decline the car did 7.6. On a fairly flat road I recently hit 7.06, on 91+Meth.

Meth injection can give you anywhere from 10-25 octane points depending on the amount used, so if say you are using 100% meth with 91, it could be very similar to running C16. Once you went to 104, your ECU noticed a loss of octane and therefore pulled timing to compensate.
It's only a hypothesis, since I don't know the specifics of your setup nor have I seen any datalogs.

What percentage of meth are you running? If it's a high percentage, or even 100% meth, the 104 may not have been enough octane and you were pulling timing.
