Whats up guys, I'm getting my fully loaded White 2011 Competition Package e90 M3 on Monday. I want to start modding asap, after break in and was looking for some advice. I want to get as much power as I can without ruining the warranty. So far I'm thinking fabspeed xpipe, dinan tune, some sort of filter (suggestions?), and dinan pulley. Is this a good setup? Any other xpipe I should consider? My heads racing with mods and I haven't even picked up the car yet

I really don't wanna do a full exhaust on this car**

switchface is infamous around these parts
Congrats Jon! I thought you were growing less satisfied with your s5 after you drove the s4. What made you go with a new m3?

As a proud and lucky owner of an 09 M3 I can tell you what I have done so far after countless hours of online searching and many trips to Turner Motorsport to make the right decisions. I have the Akrapovic Full Exhaust system with the Delete-R option for no check engine lights. I have brought it to BMW since with no problems. This is my favorite mod as it really woke the car up and shaved some weight. The sounds are incredible and really worth the money. I also chose to go with the AFE intake system with the scoops and that too woke up the car! Now it barks on intake and screams on the way out but only when you want it to. It adds a real muscle like feel and sound to the car. I also lowered it on H&R which adds quality to the handling and looks. A pulley is a great add on which I also did then added vorsteiner rear diffuser...the smaller one and carbon fiber grills and gills. Painted front reflectors are a must.
Congrats on your new ride. You will love it. Please post pics and PM me with any questions as I know every part available for this car.

Thanks bro, appreciated. I spoke to numerous dealers regarding the S4, including the guy who I brought my ex to. I basically got him a sale and he wouldn't even give me the full $1500 incentive. Next, I went to the dealer that I get my services done. They were a bit kinder to me, and offered me the full incentive, but he sort of dismissed my interest (I'm only 21) and he treated me like a kid. He was set on charging me sticker on the car, and that definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I was originally planning on waiting for the RS5, but seeing the M beat it left and right and test driving it I fell in love. I'm really excited lol. We got a great deal on this M so it was too good to pass on it, just trying to figure out how I can make payments now :P.

Hey thanks for all the info. Unfortunately the Akrapovic will be out of my price range for now. Definitely gonna paint the reflectors, and get grills. I've been looking online, and will be PM'ing you shortly for some info. Thank you again man.

Guys, update.

Went to the dealer and they brought in a white manual sedan! I had the option of waiting till November or taking the one on the lot. I opted not to settle, and will receive my car the second week of November. Here is a picture of the one that first came for me.

It's an unfortunate situation, but I am fortunate enough to be getting such a car.

Thats a nice rig, but I've learned not to settle. Good choice to wait and get the exact one you want.

Ya definitely, I settled on one of my STi's and I regretted it everyday. Plus this is giving me a chance to save up for some well needed power mods . I still need to shoot you a pm.
