Hey thanks again for the compliments guy.

I was at the garage today where the car is sitting. It's still so sad to see it charred

I hope I can afford another project somewhat soon

What gorgeous work you did on that car. I'm so sad to see it burned up, what a disaster.

Hey stunning work you did there. I have a couple of questions. I was wondering why you chose the stock intake manifold as opposed to the S50 euro manifold? I would think you could yield more power out of that.

Secondly, where did you get the knowledge/experience designing and fabricating your own parts?

Thanks guys I believe the damage is purely cosmetic but I'm not 100% certain yet as the car still hasn't been moved. Still struggling with the insurance company.

Well the euro e50b30/b32 intake manifolds are designed for individual throttle boddies which the US engines do not have, so it simply wouldn't work. The stock M50B25 manifold (what I have) has been proven to around 800HP and 30PSI+

My father and older brother tinkered with cars since I can remember. Once I got my driver's license I started doing minor modifications on my car and the more I did, the more I learned. I took classes in high school which I have to give some credit to, especially my 2 hour class during senior year, the instructor was great, and I just absoarbed the info. Post high school I went to universal technical institute (UTI) which was a decent school, but honestly I was disappointed.

Most of my learning came from owning a bunch of e30s and modding/working on them. I'm a hands on learner, so when I want to learn something new, I just dive into it!

The fabrication/design started when I decided to turbocharged this car. At the time, a top mount tubular manifold was $1950 so I decided to buy a TIG welder for $2000 instead. I read forums on the process of welding and started practicing on scrap. I basically self thought myself with the help of the forums. A few weeks after I bought the welder, I started making my manifold.
