Saw the 1 Series M yesterday
At the Washington D.C. car show. MSRP was $47k, that seems like a great bang for the buck. I would love to drive one and check it out - I bet it's a blast.

Agreed, options will push it up like many vehicles. Guess my point is 47k is a low starting point. $55k loaded is a good buy in my book.

BMW's N54 twin turbo 3.0L, 6-speed MT (probably optional double clutch), 335HP stock, yes it has the M LSD.

I think a 6MT is the only tranny. There was a lot of discussion on this.

If it kept the N54 thats great. The regular 1 series gets the N55..still a great motor but not quite as easy to mod. I assumed they all got the N55 which is a single turbo but twin scroll?? I had a 135 with tune/DPs/exhaust and was thinking of adding meth....then traded .

i saw one this week at the toronto car show - really good looking car. it was in the orange/gold - Porsche called it nordic gold - anyway, nice black leather interior with alcantera on the steering wheel; part of dash and i think the seat inserts. the stitching on all parts was deviated colour in the orange/gold.
the car is stunning imo. it is small, wide and great wheel arches. the car reminds me of my old 1983 3 series with about 3 times the horse power.
it looks really really good and frankly is pretty good price. i think it would round out my current collection

wow thats a good price. Im sure at the dealers itll be marked up a lot and with options itll drive the price up but I really wanna see what this car can do and what people do with it. Im excited to see it in person
