Next Car-BMW M3 Convertible (E93) - What do you guys think? Any input would be great!

I am trying to figure out the next car and found some really crazy lease deals on the m3 convertible. I read all the reviews and a lot of them say the m3 has gone soft with this edition. Having owned several m3's, its got me a bit worried and I wanted to see if you guys had any thoughts.

Any of you guys own one? What has been your experience with it?

Anyone considered one and go a different direction? Why?

Any pics would also be appreciated. I am thinking alpine white with the 2 tone red and black interior.

i test drove one. being a porsche person, i think the car is faster, more capable and refined than E46. however, i still think those cheap dash trims / cf fabric / plastics have to go. the coupe willl be the way to go. convertible is too heavy. also, the back seats seem smaller than e46. many buy m3 for practicality. if you dont need to, i would consider porsches. lastly, the m3 sounds too soft. need a good exhaust mod.

to sum it up, it's a fast bimmer that has sports cars performance but not quite exotic in sound and feel.

e92 M3 is over rated!! comparing it to sports cars in the market, i dont find it convencing!! i would buy an M3 only if i am getting all bmw performance parts on it!! "steering wheel, bucket seats, muffler, breaks"

good luck

e93 is a boat, did several pulls with a basically stock e46 m3 and i took him every time, (shut it down at 130), they are nice, if you want something thats not crazy to drive everyday then go for it, hardtop convertibles are nice, just not for me.
