ESS VT575 Supercharged E92 M3 vs. Modded GT-R
#16
Wow drama. That was a huge reason why I don't post on e90post anymore. But i guess there's always going to be folks like that forums. Best thing to do is ignore these ppl.
I'm going to attempt to explain why it's counterproductive to delete Sticky's posts. Whether you ban him or not, that's a different matter. But deleting his posts only adds to the drama. Here's why.
For starters, Sticky is a pathological liar. He prays on people who are young, gullible, impressionable, etc. He has a strong desire to be wanted and accepted, and be viewed as the smartest guy for BMW's, Merc's, etc. In reality, his knowledge is very limited. In fact, he's outright ignorant of cars and how they work. But he will stop at nothing, including lying and fabricating the most far-fetched stories to "prove" that he's right...and you're wrong.
As long as Sticky's posts get deleted, he'll always find a new batch of people to prey upon. As you have correctly pointed out, he will turn on his friends in a heartbeat, simply because they decided to exercise their own initiative and wipe the dust of a bad experience off of his feet, and do business with somebody else. To Sticky if you don't support Gintani, you're a traitor, and he's now attacking a guy who he defended only a few weeks ago.
I believe there is a better solution. By leaving his posts, people will see just how far out of the mainstream he really is. They will see for themselves how much he lies, fabricates stories, and how little he really knows about cars. The more he tries to argue, the more apparent his ignorance and deceptive nature will become. He will leave, when he is the laughing stock of the entire high performance automotive industry. He will NOT stop as long as people keep deleting his posts. By deleting his posts, these forums are deleting the record of his many deceptions, lies, ignorance, and how far outside of mainstream acceptable behavior he operates. If there is enough record of his aberrant behavior, then it will be clear to everybody that he is an outcast -- and that's exactly where he belongs. But deleting his posts prevents him from being the type of outcast that is needed to make him go away. As long as he can prey on a new batch of young and gullible people, he will continue to do so. And as long as there is little or no record of his aberrant behavior, then people won't know what they've run into...when they run into him. Leaving the record intact for everybody to see how much he lies, manipulates information, deceives people, and his basic ignorance of anything automotive will serve the public and get rid of him faster than deleting everything he writes.
I decided to join this thread knowing that my posts would be deleted if I started arguing with Sticky. My audience wasn't the car forum at large, my audience was one person: Sticky. I wanted him to see just how far detached from reality he really is.
Take M-Fest for example. This is the second year in a row that Sticky started idiotic rumors about me, saying I'm shunned and can't go anywhere. Just a few weeks ago, he fabricated a story that all of the vendors working on my car have refused to work with me. The people Sticky preys upon -- the young and gullible -- believed him. The vendors Sticky says hate me still get a good laugh out of it. In fact, we all get a good laugh out of it because it shows just how detached from reality he is. And I like showing how detached from reality he is, and that's why I'm here right now.
If you compare what Sticky said about me to his own situation, you will see how far detached from reality he is. He can't even leave his house and show up for any local meets because there isn't a place he can go without fear of getting beat up. Yet this is exactly what he's been saying about me for the past two M-Fest events (and all of the time in between). But at both M-Fest events, I was not only welcome in every booth, some booth owners came out to talk to me, when I didn't come in to talk to them. Yet at the same time, Sticky can't leave home and show up at M-Fest because he is unwelcome and will definitely get assaulted if he shows.
Ironically, other than Gintani, there aren't any vendors in Southern California who will even talk to him. He has clearly alienated every vendor in the area -- except the one vendor who welcomes him with open arms. So again, this shows just how far detached from reality Sticky has become. He has a delusion that he's loved and accepted, yet he can't leave his home for fear of being assaulted, and he can't show up to serve the community he thinks he represents.
Lastly, look at the results of this year's M-Fest to see just how far detached he and his friends are from reality. Again, it all started at last year's M-Fest, when one of the Gintani customers, and now employee "niterider" started falsifying stories about his car, how well it performed (or lack thereof), and how many times it took to the track. A half dozen of us counted the times his car took to the track and were timing his car, so we saw its performance (or lack thereof) with our own eyes. Yet when they took to the forums to talk about it, it was clear there was a huge disconnect between what they claimed its performance was versus what a half-dozen witnesses saw with their own eyes, and timed with their own stopwatches. So it was no surprise that they didn't post any lap speeds, nor any proof at how great their cars performed. Clearly, they were hiding what the rest of us saw.
The run up to this year's even was no different. We saw the Gintani/Sticky chest-beating. They called people out on the forums. They said they would bring multiple Stage-3 supercharged cars, their resurrected M5 supercharged car. They said they couldn't even attend a 2-hour dyno shootout to help disprove that they were cheating their dynos -- all because they were too busy getting cars ready for this year's M-Fest. Then the fate of matters changed when Drew announced he got rid of his Gintani kit, and installed an ESS supercharger on his car. Drew immediately went from best friend, to public enemy #1. And it literally happened overnight. But more importantly, all of that chest-beating was for naught. Gintani and Sticky knowing they would either have to risk blowing more motors in order to compete head-to-head against Drew's new kit, didn't even bother to show up at the drag races. All of that chest beating, calling people out, and saying for the past 15 months that they are track and drag race proven to beat any and all competitors, would have to wait. Gintani was a no-show. The only other alternative for Gintani and Sticky was to turn down the boost to safe levels, and become the laughing stock for getting beat so badly.
This year I was determined not to let Sticky and his gang of thugs get away with lying about their car's performance -- especially at my personal expense like they did last year. Last year they made it personal by lying about their own cars, but more importantly lying about mine (even though I posted all vBox files from all laps, for all six sessions I ran). This year I came prepared to photograph the lap time charts, so they couldn't lie about their car's performance. I'm happy to say...I wasn't disappointed I did. So while Gintani supercharged customer cars were a 100% no-show at both the drags and track events, AE Performance did field one car in the tuner challenge. They did set the fastest time, but that barely tells the whole story. The car apparently broke down after only three laps on the track. They say it ran out of gas. But who can believe that, when it's a full blown race car, a wringer with a professional race driver, and it supposedly goes on a race track with an empty tank of gas. I'll say it...that's a BS story. According to the time slips, that car only attempted to the track one other time...and it ran exactly one lap on that session. Clearly something was wrong with the car, and during the tuner challenge it had to be towed off of the track.
But even getting towed off of the track is only part of the story of this car. Remember all of the chest beating and claims that they will destroy everybody? Well, that didn't happen either. Enter a little naturally aspirated E92 from RPI. With only a set of RPI scoops, ESS ECU tune, and RPI exhaust for modifications, the RPI car was only four seconds slower on the track and tuner challenge than a full blown race car, race prepared, race tuned, Gintani supercharged, and with a professional race driver than this naturally aspirated near-stock car put on the field by RPI. With at least 150 more horsepower in a race car with a race driver, the Gintani car couldn't even beat the RPI car by more than 4.5 seconds. So much for the racing heritage, racing legacy, and destroying everybody on the track.
Sticky needed to see that. People needed to see that. People need to see that public record and realize that there is a disconnect between the rhetoric and reality. Once people see just how silly Sticky is, and all of the claims he and his vendor makes, people will realize he's an outcast and will want to stay away from him. But this will never happen if forums keep deleting his posts and removing the public record of just how badly he behaves, and how low he will go to manipulate people and information.
This is why I would encourage this forum to restore the deleted posts from this thread. Let people see the disconnect between what Sticky thinks, says, the lies he tells versus reality. I want people to see what he says about me. I'll admit that at first it bothered me, but now he's only got a small core group of devotees who still believe anything he said about me. And most likely, that core group of people are just other pseudonyms and fake accounts Sticky uses on his own forum to talk to himself. So it doesn't matter any longer. I want Sticky to post up everything about me. I want people to see what he says and just how far out of the mainstream he has gone. I want people to see his mental illness. I want people to be warned about him, and how far he will go to stab anybody in the back how embarrasses him.
Look no farther than what he's doing to Drew right now. Drew went from best friend, to public enemy #1. He's started telling all of the fake stories about Drew -- just like he did about me. It's a whole new cycle with a new victim. Sticky's spreading false stories about Drew's character, his wife, and giving a false story about Gintani supposedly covering the cost of his replacement motor. In a nutshell, Sticky lies about everything and he should be outcast from every car forum and every public arena where he might have influence. But this can only happen if people are sufficiently warned about him. Deleting posts deletes the record of what he does, the lies he tells, and in the case of cars -- how little he knows. Think about it next time you're tempted to delete one of his posts. Which is better for the community at large: is it better for people to see who he really is, or to have little knowledge of him and can't be forewarned that he's a mentally ill person and is most likely beyond any amount of reasonable help.
Sorry for taking up so much space. It had to be said...and people have to be warned.

Sticky says Gintani covered 100% replacement cost of his motor plus labor. Drew has posted that Gintani only covered 1/2 of the cost of his motor. There's obviously a huge disconnect between what they are claiming, and what the person who actually went through experienced.
And here's even more of the disconnect between the propaganda and reality. After waiting for months, Drew had to find his own replacement motor, pay for it himself, arrange for shipping himself, and he still was only reimbursed less than 50%. When he got the car back, it was missing parts and he had to take it to the dealer to get it fixed. Even the dealer missed a bunch of missing stuff. When the car arrived in Arizona, even more hundreds of dollars of missing and damaged parts had to be replaced. They also discovered that his meth lines had been pieced together and spliced instead of running a single non-broken line. The meth line was leaking under the carpet of his interior and causing damage and a nasty foul odor. Can you say: M-I-C...K-E-Y...M-O-U-S-E?
Let Sticky explain that disconnect between reality and his fictitious version of events.

I won't waste any energy typing about "sticky", aka ******bag, tool, liar, mentally retarded idiot.
Drew has ALWAYS been one of the nicest and honest guys I have met in the local car scene, period. He is a true enthusiast, loves all types of cars and I must add that he has a beautiful family. It was painful for me to watch what he went through with Gintani, and to this day, I still can't disclose publicly all that went down, but I have to say right here in public that they never "TOOK CARE" of him the way some B grade forums run by aforementioned "TOOL" made it seem. Drew tried his best to keep things civil and not hurt Gintanis reputation, even when I told him he didn't need to... why?,because he's just a nicer guy than I am. I also have to say that they are just shady, unreliable, dishonest and I won't be surprised if they go belly up in the near future.
Drew, you got your car back, it's running strong. Look forward to all the drives we're going to go for this summer man. See you soon!

I understand everything that you've stated. But Sticky has been banned, and will remain that way permanently.
His posts, opinions, Gintani shill tactics, and incessant drama are not welcome on this forum...and lengthy discussions about about him only serve to exacerbate the issues.
I'll leave your above post intact, but from now on, if you want to discuss all that is wrong with Sticky, please do it over on his forum or one of the dedicated M3 forums. Thank you.

Hey man, got the new pulley at Mfest, still running the 91 octane vt575 tune. Ran Meth at the track, did not run Meth on the 7.18 run, but 95 octane mix while running the 7.5 pulley all the time, it needs a minimum 93 octane. For this 6.8 run I ran 95 octane and WM, with a VT625 tune.

Wow awesome times man! You keep crushing your previous times im glad your back in the game.

At Mfest, the DA was 4000', the track had a 1% slope, and I could not launch the car, I only managed a lackluster 11.8 @ 125MPH, I was running the VT575 tune, not the newest tune I ran with the 6.8s Vbox run, but to put some perspective on things, here is what other cars were running at Mfest at Vegas Speedway -
Stock and bolt on E9X M3's, 13-15s @ 102-107MPH
NA E46 M3's, 14-15's @ 98MPH
E60 M5, Modded 13's @ 108-110MPH
C6 Z06 12's @ 117-118MPH
Stock E55 13-14's @ 103MPH
Modded E55 - 12's @ 113MPH
2012 GTR 530HP LC, 11.4 @ 117-118MPH
HPF E46 M3 Turbo STage 2 Pump + Meth, 13's @ 122-123MPH
HPF E46 M3 Turbo Stage 2.5 Pump + Meth ,12's @ 127-128MPH
HPF E46 M3 Turbo Stage 2.5 Race + Meth, 12's @ 132mph
HPF Stage 2.75 Pump + Meth, 12's @ 129MPH
HPF Stage 2.75 Race fuel + Meth (800whp) 11.64 @ 136MPH
HPF Stage 4 Race Fuel + Meth (750whp) 11.00 @ 131MPH
996TT, K16's, ECU Flash, 13's @ 111mph
On the Vbox with the same setup, street tires, I trapped 130MPH, this is with spinning and lifting in 1st gear. Here's the VBox screen and graph, the graph is an approx time of how they actually measure ET's and traps at NHRA tracks, meaning the average speed 66' before the finish line.
Here is the graph that was analyzed by Robert, it gives us an approx. idea of what the actual #'s would have been at an NHRA track. You can see in the graph where the traction issues took place and I had to lift off the throttle.
