ECU Tuning Group | BMW E90/92 M3 ECU Upgrade

By reprogramming the BMW E90/92 M3 diagnostically (OBD II port), we were able to eliminate all hesitation/flat spots and approximately achieve 27hp & 22bs tq (over STOCK) to the wheels. Keep in mind no physical alterations were made to the vehicle ie. exhaust, intake, headers, etc. Although we have the speed limiters removed for pre 2010, we are still working on removing them for the 2010+ m3’s. Configuring the issue, we are 99% done and the option will be widely available soon.

Additional gains of 15-20hp are accessible to those who use a high flow race cat and/or are completely cat-less. Though we recommend genuine 200 cell high flow race cats, removing the cats and disabling the o2 sensors(programmed) will suffice.

Please inquire about any BMW model. Details will be presented upon request.

Please contact the sales department for any questions or concerns.

Please obey all traffic laws. ECU Tuning Group does not encourage speeding.

Does this tune eliminate the cold start cycle? If you loose the tune because of BMW dealer software/firmware updates does it cost anything to retune it?

No, the tune doesn't eliminate the cold start cycle. We have heard from others that the cold start sounds pretty harsh. As for now, we don't have a solution but will look more into it. As for the BMW dealer updating the software, each customer is entitled to 2 free reflashes. To prevent the dealer from reflashing any vehicle we reprogram, we load the latest software from the manufacturer, in your case being Germany, into the vehicle and tune around that.
