Project BMW M5 F10 Underway at Vivid Racing
The 2013 BMW M5 underwent some major changes. A whole new exterior design has been paired with a new engine for the M5. Previous versions of the leading "saloon" performance car included a powerful 5.0L V10 that put out 500 hp and 380 ft lbs torque. Today's M5 has upped the power to 560 hp and over 500 ft lbs torque thanks to a twin turbo 4.4L V8. Needless to say, this car comes from the factory as a tire smoking performance car.
But like always, our goal is to take the M5 to places BMW couldn't dream of. All of this will be done to debut at this years SEMA show in Las Vegas. We have teamed up with the following manufactures to develop and showcase products designed specifically for the F10 M5. Agency Power, Seibon, H&R Springs, SSR Wheels, Velos Tuning, Eisenmann Exhausts and Yokohama Tires.
First step of this project was to take delivery and get the car on the dyno. Our first runs gave us 477 hp and 478 tq to the wheels. After putting on a few more miles and hitting the dyno when it wasn't 110 outside gave us our final baseline of 490 hp and 502 ft lbs of torque on our Mustang II AWD Dyno.
As with all our other project cars from the past and present, we will be releasing updates on progress via our Blog, Facebook and twitter accounts so stay tuned. The first few steps will be H&R Springs install, clear bra of the front end and installing of the blacked out grills and badges.

Part of every project car is to create a theme/vision. It is the small things you do that brings the concept together. From the factory, the F10 M5 is equipped with chrome accents and touches of blue such as the calipers. Both of these were not part of the overall look we are going for. So step one on appearance is blacking out the BMW grills and badge. Removing the stock pieces is nothing more than a tug and a pull on the appropriate tabs. Install is even easier as the new black trim pieces just snap right in.
Step two was to remove the blue Brembo factory caliper and refinish it in a red to match the interior of our M5. This will also pop against our upcoming wheel upgrade and other exterior enhancements.
Both of these small changes will bring the look of the car together. As this project continues, you can check back to our gallery, blog, facebook and twitter pages to follow along.

If you want to be suprised, then don't look at this! SEMA show starts tomorrow in Las Vegas and our BMW M5 F10 is debuting an all new line of products for Seibon Carbon International. The all white M5 sedan with beautiful red interior has been modded up nicely here. Seibon has added their new carbon fiber trunk lid with aggressive spoiler, carbon fiber rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber hood with vents. We also have our Agency Power carbon front chin spoiler installed as well. The car has been lowered on H&R springs and then the stock brakes have been custom painted red. The wheels are brand new from SSR Japan. The 21x9 and 21x10.5 wheels are the new Executor CV01 with a brushed center and polished lip. They have been wrapped in a set of Yokohama Advan Sport tires. The fronts are 255/30/21 and the rears are 295/25/21. Horsepower takes this already massively fast sedan further with a set of Agency Power ceramic coated downpipes and full Eisenmann exhaust featuring black tips. Velos Designworks has remapped the ECU and we are currently working on a new intake system.
Make sure to snap some photos of this mean machine at the Seibon Carbon booth. You can check out more pictures of this Project Car Here.

Didn't get a chance to see this one at SEMA. The Slek boys have got one at their shop also. Looks sick!. Love the performance upgrades. How can anyone resist?

Looks great except I would paint CF on trunk other than upper part of spoiler section. I know you need to show CF parts in full for SEMA so I understand. I do think its the nicest F10 M5 Ive seen. Best color combo available by far IMO.
