Here at GMP Performance, we love power upgrades. The words turbocharger and supercharger are two of our favorites of all time. So when we got word that we'd be driving out to pick up a Z4M interested in a supercharger kit from ESS, we were more than excited.

Currently, we are hard at work at that and we can't wait to be able to share it with you. For now, however, we though we'd share the kit itself so you guys can see what's coming soon!

The ESS Tuning Z4M VT2-525 Supercharger System



The ESS Z4M VT2-525 SC system is based on the Vortech V3Si supercharger unit capable of 775HP. The systems are full systems including, 20mm Certal aluminum main bracket for superior rigidity, custom molded high temperature kompressor inlet housing, cast aluminum intake manifold with integrated high capacity bypass valve system, high-capacity front mount intercooler system and custom tuned ESS ECU software with removed dyno limiter and top speed governor. Fueling is provided by new, larger direct replacement Bosch Motorsport fuel injectors.



With an extremly effecient design and perfectly tuned software the ESS S54 Z4M VT Series supercharger system delivers supercar performance along with the quality and reliability ESS customers have come to expect. This kit is designed as a 100% bolt on package with no irreversible custom fabrication to the vehicle.

The VT2-525 is easily upgradeable as the inevitable power addiction sets in. The same basic V3Si supercharger unit and major hardware components are used all the way up to our VT3-700 version of the kit.



*The ESS E-Flash OBD2 cable option allows the end user to upload the supercharger ECU software directly to the car from any PC running Windows XP or newer. The system also includes full diagnostic and code clearing capability. Any future ESS software updates can be received by email and loaded directly to the car. The stock ECU software will be saved and can easily be restored in the future.

ESS - European Supercharging Systems

ESS was founded 1995 in Aremark, Norway. The company started out with a yearly production of 30 SC systems, in 2004 total production passed 1000 SC systems making them the largest BMW supercharger system manufacturer in the world. From 2000, they started offering a constantly growing chip tuning selection for many European models based on our extensive expertise with Bosch and Siemens engine control systems.
