I just want the drive-train out of that thing. Think it would be perfect in an e46 m3 chassis

after living with the M5 for a month, gotta say I happend to like all those buttons and functions. Very capable car that I can live with everyday.

Is this posted anywhere downloadable? I'm at work and they recently killed streaming video, ugghhh!

i've had my M5 for about 6 weeks. I actually like all of the customization features.. I just wish that i could make the idrive react faster

I'm glad I didnt buy an M5.

I was playing around with the I Drive system the other day, what a freakin nightmare.

there is certainly a learning curve with the idrive.. its not as intutive as say the IPOD. It took me about 30 seconds to get hte hang of the ipod.

I think if your comfortable with windows xp and going into the control panel to change some features the Idrive is a snap.

I like the idea of being able to almost totally customize your driving experience.

Major P.I.T.A if you borrowed or test-drove the car. But spending 20 minutes or so 'customizing' MY car wouldn't bother me much if at all.
