Impact & History of the Exhibit

There can be no doubt that the preservation of the history and heritage of BMW is in good hands with the BMW Car Club Foundation in partnership with America’s Automotive Trust. LeMay – America’s Car Museum is an entity of the Trust.

In June 2017, the Foundation, in partnership with BMW and private collectors from across the country curated an exceptional exhibit of rare and legendary examples of BMW Motorsport. Titled “Heroes of Bavaria - 75 Years of BMW Motorsport” they brought together an impressive selection of the most significant BMW racing machines in the company’s history. Now, with your help, several cars from amazing collection have the opportunity to be viewed for the first time on the West Coast.

The exhibit will feature 17 rare and historically significant BMW motorsports vehicles, plus artifacts and memorabilia displayed in ACM’s remarkable Showcase Gallery in Tacoma, WA.
