330xi or 325xi
My wife doesn't like driving the Cayenne Turbo around town so we are looking for a small sedan for her. Which one would you get 330xi or 325xi? What year (2002-2005)? Does 325xi have enough horse power? Any big problem with the engine or what kind of problem should I be aware of? Annual cost? What price range is a good buy? Thank you very much for your help.

Try get a car close to 2005 , will have most of the production issues solved. I've driven both 325xi and 330xi and since I'm not really used with big engines I felt a considerable power difference betwen them. Check a local dealer and test both models. I cannot give my opinion about the annual costs or price range since I live in EU, but good luck.

Yes try to get the newer models...the new 3 series is just a very good car as I see them often everyday....very practical around town and you can easily get parking. About the fun factor I know it would be serious...
It's the right choice

The hp on the 325xi seems pretty weak. Not that she needs so much hp but it bothers me when I am in the car watching people passing her. Do BMW make all wheel drive convertibles?

IMO a BMW should be RWd and that's all...but that's me.

My mom currently has a 2002 BMW 325xi and she loves it. The car has 60k miles on it and hasn't had a SINGLE problem. She takes it in for service when it says to, does the regular oil changes and its great. Granted I have driven it and its a little slow for my taste but again its my 49 year old mom driving it so its all good. If you're going to be driving it I would recommend the 300xi, I worked for a BMW dealership and have driven my fair share. Its no E46 M3 but it has plenty of power. Just my .02.

A friend just bought a 2005 330i executive M package and its just a wonderful car. The ride is phenominal, drives very comfortably, and has power. its a great buy thats for sure! I have not driven a 3 series with AWD though.

What does CPO means for BMW? Free oil change, tranny replacement, engine replacement, everything except wear and tear? I am looking into either a 325xi or 330xi for my wife to drive in the winter so I need as much information as possible. Any problem with 2003 and plus year 3 series AWD? Thank you very much for your help.
