what about the BBS RGR wheels? i like the way they look. they look like the LM's but lighter and the lip looks better. i like the CH's but i like the lip on the RGR's better.

Thank you all again for the welcome.

I found some photos of the interior and engine,
but unfortunately I am receiving this message:

"There seems to have been a problem with the 6speedonline.com Forums database."

Any idea of the cause?

PS SMG software in the CSLs is totally different of the one in an M3.
More aggresive, more track usable!

yea i have driven a few regular M3 with smg box's and they sucked donkeys *****. but it seems 100x better in the csl, maybe its because you feel like your in a race car (the carbon, the buckets, wheel etc) and when pushing it hard, the handeling and the smg work like butter. and the sound, ohhhh the sound!!!

alexcsl:

use www.imageshack.us to upload the images then just link to the images and thell show up in the post.

sick csl, we were lookin at a black one, but got a regular m3 instead (roads are to harsh for the csl to be a daily)

Now, there are 4 CSLs in Greece.
3 silver gray and one in black.
All of these have been imported individually,
by persons like me.

Below is the formal list of the CSL allocations:
  • 422 - United Kingdom
  • 300 - Germany
  • 90 - Switzerland
  • 75 - Japan
  • 65 - South Africa
  • 60 - Austria
  • 30 - Netherlands
  • 23 - Australia
  • 10 - New Zealand
  • 8 - Sweden
  • 6 - France
  • 3 - Norway
  • 2 - Belgium
  • 1 - Hong Kong
  • ...... ?
842 left hand and 422 right hand.
Hi, guys!

Since I also own CSL, I have compiled quite a load of related information. Regardding number of produced CSL's, then the correct one is 1389 cars from which 843 were LHD and 546 RHD. The number of 422 RHD mentioned by you is only the number of exported CSL to United Kingdom. But there are more RHDs because such were sold also to Japan, Hong Kong, South Africa and other RHD countries.

Regarding the car - nothing really comes close (except exotics like Ferrari, Lambo etc) in terms of aural and physical emotions when driving hard

Thanks man, that car was the whole reason for my extensive modifying of my turbo, and even then, after making it RWD, removing weight, adding power and tons and tons of stuff it was nowhere near the feel of my ex M3! That was, until, my GT2 arrived, it brings back memories of in your face rawness!

But i must admit, i miss my M3 so much! Car was amazing...

Nice car and welcome to the forum. CSL is my dream car. Too bad BMW didn't sell the model in US.

"Of course, it isn't especially comfortable, or quiet, and you can't put heavy shopping in the boot, in case it fall through the cardboard floor, and you can't use it, unless its hot and sunny, and if it is hot and sunny, you'll melt, because there's no air conditioning. And if there is rain on the way, you wont know, because you can't hear the weather forecast, because there is no radio. Not the most practical car in the world. But when you get out of the villages, into isle of man's de-regulated inner circle, it is just... incredible." (then jeremy clarkson floors it, and out comes one of the most orgasmic sounding exhaust notes i've ever heard.)

(^^episode of top gear, they took it off youtube)

Beautiful machine man. I will have one, one day
