SMG stands for Sequential Manual Gearbox...it is "manually" controlled but it IS NOT a manual transmission (i.e. a 6-speed manual transmission which requires clutch engagement to shift and drive the car)

 

I would go with the black & red.

there is a lot of black out there, get the blue. i know there's nothing like a 6speed but the smg is pretty awesome especially if you track the car. the smg does have a clutch and can get burned if not driven properly...mom's should love the car

 

Yes, I agree, I should step it up. Although I am only 25. So soon, very soon I will step it up. For now the M3 will have to suffice.

 

Hey man, I think Monaco Blue is gorgeous on the M6... but I'd do Cinnimon interior instead of red. Just me though-- out of your two choices I'd still say go with the blue/red.

I would do the Cinnimon interior as well, unfortunately they don't offer it on the M6.

 

They didn't offer it, but one can get it . A friend my mine investigated ordering a white/cinn M5 and apparently he could have done it... I'd suggest talking to your dealer about it if your mom would rather have that combo.

Red interior looks best on White, Black, and Silver/Gray/etc

Blue needs a black interior or peanut butter

Blue w/ Red a "bit much" in my opinion, but then again, this is an M6 we are talking about here so she could get Pink on Green and it would still be SEX on wheels
