The Vorsteiner Race Hood is a new generation hood that only maintains the outer vents - I wanted to be different. The vents are in 2x2, and I'm going to leave the underside of the hood exposed CF in 2x2. So you get the idea - carbon fiber is a good thing to me.

Of course there's the carbon fiber on my monobloc 6 piston BBK. When the rears come out in monobloc I'm replacing those too to match the fronts.

Here's a photoshop of the hood (vents are a little bigger and positioned slightly further back) - the hood will also have a slightly larger Power Dome.

that hood looks sick! not all riced out like the other vorsteiner hood.

Thanks. Here's a slightly better rendering (although still terrible pshop) of the hood with the vents setup next to the powerdome where they will actually be situated. I think it looks much better. Vorsteiner is my sponsor and we were discussing my car and felt this suits it much better. I couldn't agree more.

Here's also the seats I'm getting. The rear is of course 2x2 CF.

thats def going to accentuate the power dome in the right way. the other hood is too gaudy and busy. this one is just right. cant wait ot see the finalized product.

I like the Pole Positions but these are the newest version and I like how it narrows on the top (headrest). I don't have the exact weight yet but obviously they're a fraction of the weight of the OEM seats which also have the seat belts built onto them. I'm looking for a nice roll bar that I can have covered in black nappa leather and that isn't too big - it's got to aethetically be right, otherwise a harness bar. I'm still looking - otherwise I'd have them.

I really like this hood best. I agree, I think the other belongs on a track car or a coupe, or at least not mine.
