I had a 95 for 10 years. The car has a lot of heart. It runs extremely well and is mod friendly (OBD1).

The only issues I had before the turbo was added was:

Tranny mounts are weak and can cause the dreaded mis-shift due to the tranny twisting under load: easy fix is the Rogue Engineering or Group N

Vanos can get loud after 75k miles

Get a finned diff cover from Rogue Engineering if you track the car.

Motor mounts go soft early with hard driving: I put in HD Group N mounts.

I miss my baby!

BEAUTIFUL CAR! wow....thanks so much to everyone giving their input. I recently bought a MINT 1995 m3....hellrot on black nappa leather. Car is completely stock with all paperwork since new. Only additions were a Dinan exhaust and depo headlights.

Car is phenomenal..handle is perfectly neutral, great balance...throttle response is nice and sharp and acceleration is very pleasing...albeit not blindingly quick by any means.

Ive already began a few modifications....clear lens all around. m-tech alum shift know and pedals, Conforti intake, euro HFM, TMS software. Should be nice for now . ill post pics asap

My E36 M was officially sold today. I'm no longer an E36 driver.

Tribute pic.

And I'm selling the steering wheel if you are interested.

I'm just south of Philadelphia... 30 mins out of the City. The wheel is expensive but spectacular (if you're a steering wheel kind of guy).

Word...just curious im in and out of the city all the time playin gigs and what not.

That wheel is killin, I saw your add on bimmerforums....beautiful job with the alcantara wrap, looks perfect...id love to spring on that..but that $850 is being used for a few other toys at the moment...ala motorsport seatbelts and carbon fiber GT bits

BTW...theres a GTG thread i started in the Jersey/ New York/ CT section on Bimmerforums...aug 30th..might be a slight drive for ya..Cherry Hill Mall at 7pm..starting to look like a decent turnout already
