Interesting:

3650lbs? M3! Isn't that a little heavy? The m5 only weighs 4050!! A 12.9 1/4 is nothing special.

Are we taking bets what this "EDC" will cost? With a 62k base once you add options you are at 70k for a 3 series. Don't you guys think that might be a little pricy?

Sounds like a fun car, probably the type of car that you will like more and more after you drive one for a while. I am definitly watching this car and the C63 as cars to trade the E55 in on, but based on the numbers and review they are kind of disappointing.

What are your guys thoughts?

i agree with you, 12.9 is nothing special considering that the base 997 runs about the same in ET and trap speed with ONLY 325 hp, granted it weights about 400 lbs less. the only thing i will give the m3 is that they said conditions could have been better, but i mean i dont its gonna run any faster than 12.7@112 which still doesnt put it as fast as a 997S. to me, there are much better options than the e92 m3.

I am still reserving my final judgement until I drive it, but right now the C63 looks like the winner.
