Purchased the GruppeM exhaust only this weekend. It will be here in a week or so and will install. I am waiting on the remaining exhaust, new intake, etc. to see how it sounds. thanks for all the input and remarks. Scott

Good gains as in someone did a before/after dyno, or good gains as in the manufacturer said it was faster to some speed or another, with no other proof?

I thought AFE and K&N intake were both better than G-M as far as intake gains? And that G-M just looked nicest? I don't know - I stopped reading the M3 literature back in 2005.

It's nice for the M5 too. Dixis makes great stuff.

as for the intake dyno...technik did a test few years ago with the stock VS. gruppe m, afe and k&n and gruppe m make the most power of all of them, so yes, there is proof that gruppe m in fact does make the most power.

Happen to have the url of one? I've never seen a closed hood before/after dyno of a Gruppe M.

AZ911TT,
See that pic in SallyMobile's avatar? That is one sweet ride! (there is no substitute). Anyway, good luck with the exhaust (I'll help you install when it arrives...if I can move my leg by then!)
