i been suggesting 6spd group ED trip for a while now. we all should plan to get new cars in summer of 2008: porsche, bmw, mbz, maser, etc. and meet up somewhere in europe for a week or two of driving. imagine, 10-20 new cars -- ultimate road trip.

Yea im sure without it I would get lost like crazy

Question ... I have heard mixed answers from different people ... but I ended up buying my car through a dealership in Chicago ... I live in Vegas .... The dealer told me the car has to be shipped to them first and then I can fly in and pick it up or arrange for a freight company to pick it up there and truck it to me here in Vegas. I was talking to some other people and they told me I should be able to have it shipped to a dealership here in Vegas even thou I didnt order it from them. Which is right? If I could have it sent directly to a Vegas dealership it would save me some $$$$

dont know the answer. are you getting conflicted answers from ED forum on bimmerfest? have you tried calling BMW North America and getting an answer directly from them? also, try calling ED department of BMW NA with the same question (ED department is very small with just a couple of people there who are very knowledgeable)

yes. you get 2-for-1 deal with lufthansa though, but their fare restrictions are pretty weird. and if you flying alone, you just go and get a regular ticket.
