Porsche Boxster Spyder Carbon Door Sills

Greetings Ladies and Gents,

For sale is a brand new, un installed full carbon fiber door sills with silver logo for Porsche Boxster Spyder made by MA carbon for driver and passenger side.
$350 shipped, with in the States.

All Spyder owners know that the door sill area is exposed and is prone to scuffs and scratches as there is no protection, the logo is just stuck on the painted metal.

This is a very high quality product which enhances your Spyder, making it even more individual and is far superior to others. The logo in certain lighting seems to float over the carbon weave. Beautiful, stunning item. The best that money can buy.

Please send me an email at msdhills@hotmail.com, if you have any questions I can also be reached on my cell phone (703) 628 1100.

A very unique item for a very unique car.
Thank you for looking,

Still available, and if so, is the logo removable?

Yes, still up for grabs, price drop $350 shipped, buyer pays Paypal fees. If you remove the layer of clean coat with paint thinner you could peel of off the logo.

How thick is the clear over the decals? And were they applied on CF that was dry and cured or still gummy and set into the resin? I don't want a huge project on my hands if I can avoid it. 350 is a solid deal but I don't want to ruin the CF by sanding down into the weave.

What I was told that MA carbon put three layers of clear coat on top of the logo. These are stock OEM sills, that were sanded before clear coat was sprayed on after the logo was stuck on.

The logo sits on top of the weave which gives it a floating effect, so am pretty sure it was stuck on top of a clear coat and then sprayed three times.

Ok. Just to be clear, these were on a Spyder and have since been taken off. Is there any damage from bending them when they were removed, creases, cracks, etc? Is the original double-sided tape gone or some gummy residue still present after removing from the sill? Could you take pictures of the pieces in their current state, topside and underside? I just don't want to drop 350 without knowing how they look right now. I appreciate the effort!

Fair question my friend, these sills were NEVER installed, the double sided tape is intact and unused. The photo shows the sill merely placed on top of a spyder door sill. The fit is so good that you can place the sill and it just sits in place.
