I agree, both great cars but for comepletely different target markets. I would consider the BMW as a second daily driver though.

Some would argue whether a base Cayman is in fact a Porsche, including a witty employee I met in Stuttgart.

135 > Cayman, 135i ~ Cayman S

I'll let you guys know how it drives if it ever makes the swim over.

Whoever said that is not very intelligent. The fact of the matter is that a base Cayman can hang with if not beat a 993 around the track(if thats what you drive)

Here are some more "fake" Porsches.......

924/44/68, 928, 914, 912, early 911s get my point. Ignorant comment. Whats that guy do sweep the floors there

I wouldnt think twice to decide on an Cayman over a 135 even though I love the 135. Your choosing sports car over sport saloon.

What do you mean?

My 986 (2001) is now barely worth USD 10k?

911s retain their value (with a few exceptions - 996s)... the other models just drop like there is no tomorrow.
