Hello to all!

Today I put down my top for the first time since getting the car in December. It is brand new 2007 Boxster S. I heard a crushing snap and this damaged, oval piece of plastic was coming out the drivers side of the roof. I took out the plastic piece and was able to close the roof but it bounces back and force, as if it has nothing stabilizing it. This ever happen to anybody before? I had nothing in the trunk blocking it at all,

The older cars, esp. 97's had myriad top problems. Its not a good sign to have problems like that in a new car.

 

Sorry to hear, haven't heard anything about that being a problem.
