The wheels to clarify are Kinesis Racing and not Fikse. They were custom ordered direct from Kinesis and have the correct offsett and sizes. They were custom painted from Panther racing when new to replicate the 93 boxster prototype. The paint cost another $800 but i know that it can be done much cheaper or even by yourself if you have some time. I already unbolted the 160 nuts on the back for this process. I am just looking for a change in looks right now. I paid 5K+ for the wheels and close to 2K for the Birdestone SO3's (yep, crazy canadian pricing). These are excellent, strong and light wheels that I have never had problems with.

 

angmans the owners of the K27's sorry for not gettin back to you andrew.. i was not trying to rush myself on making up my mind on which set i wanted.. i came on here for advice but i think im just gonna end up keeping my HRE's unless i sell it for just cash!

 

Im feeling the look of the HRE's more than the champions.
