May 7th PCA DE Event
Hi everyone.
First of all thanks to the couple of members who posted in my last thread about posting replies. I still can't post replies, but I can start threads. Weird.
Anyway, I want to be able to drive my 986 better so I signed up for the PCA DE Novice event at Blackhawk Farms Raceway for next month. I'm pretty excited. I just had my brake lines flushed and my coolant flushed. She's as ready as she'll ever be.
Now I just need to get a helmet and maybe some gloves.
Will any of you Chicago folks be out there? If so look for the '02 Green BoxS.
Sorry in advance if I don't post any replies in this thread. That function still may be 'off' for me.

I am in Iowa, but will be in Chicago this summer for an internship...so you might see me out at some DE's. Will this be your 1st event? Hopefully I will meet you at one in the future...good luck

Hey Chills: your posting shows "Awaiting email confirmation" rather then "registered user". Probably has something to do with you not being able to reply.
I moved from Chicago to Raleigh, NC last year but have a friend who has been running a 2001 Turbo 911 and his Ducati motorcycle at Blackhawk. He said it's a nice facility and fun to run. So...HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

I can confirm that Inglot is a good guy. I have been corresponding with him via email and he is a wealth of information. Also, get on their PCA webpage to read all of the rules and things to have done before showing up to the first DE....also has a list of all the DE's this summer.
